Part 3

Did I tell you how proud we are of the Ninja team? They play hard, they win graciously, they lose graciously. They are a great bunch of people...

Jeff had a great idea to tailgate after the first game of the Dragons tournament and we invited the San Jose Zebras to join us.



Well....this weekend was more than a nail biter. On Saturday, at the end of regulation (the game), the score was tied....so, we went into overtime. At the end of overtime, the score was once again tied....then the fire alarm went off....and went off....we ended up evacuating the gym TWICE. When we finally got back into the gym...we found out that the game will be decided by SUDDEN DEATH. The first to score, wins...it was over in 15 seconds...we won and were able to go to the championship game on Sunday...against the Foster City Flyers...again. 3 tournaments, 3 championship games with them!

The first time we met the Flyers, we won by 14 points. The second time, they beat us by 14. This time....the game went into overtime...TWICE. We ended up winning by TWO points...I blame all my gray hair on this game...
