Vegas Baby!

Sorry, no picture tonight. Too busy packing for the Girl's Trip to Las Vegas! WHOO HOO!! I just hope we can meet up with Betty (from Seattle) with no problems. Opps...almost forgot the Nav System....

I'll Blog more when I get back...or, at least tell you that I got back okay. You do know, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas..."

Preggers Shopping

Hee hee....I met Jeff's cousin, Karen, @ Valley Fair today for lunch. We had a wonderful lunch thanks to Auntie Joanne (Karen's Mom, a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory!)...and a great time shopping for maternity clothes. Karen and her husband, Jeff, (yes, another Jeff...fondly referred to as "Haku") are expecting their first child at the end of April.

Here is a side view of Karen...

Not too big...but, after lunch...look what happened! Just kidding, she tried on the tummy pillow...I can't wait until she is THAT BIG!
One thing that I bought Last week with Shelley was a travel jewelry case. My last trip to Vegas resulted in a broken bead. I was heartbroken...it was one of my favorite DACS beads...This case is hard sided...so, it should protect all of my "chunky" necklaces. Besides, it matches my suitcase and my new eyeglass case I bought today.

Here is my broken bead...I tried to repair it with super glue, but it didn't hold.
So, I dug out my "lampwork" bead stash, and I found this bead. I re-strung my necklace tonight.
Last night, I strung this necklace...and yes, I used my bead stringer for the necklace. Have you ever seen one in action? It's a little bowl that is on spindle. As the bowl rotates, the beads "jump" on the "J" needle....it's great!

Finally, our first Sprinkles...

Yes, we are a little behind the times...but, I finally was convinced to get some Sprinkles cupcakes....isn't it a cute box?

I met my SF Shopping Buddy, Shelley, for lunch at Stanford Shopping Center. Next to Max's, is Sprinkles....and she talked me into getting something... Since Jordan is not that much of a cake lover, I decided to get two cupcakes...a lemon and a dark chocolate. Jeff, Neil and I loved the lemon cupcake. I also tasted some of the dark chocolate, quite yummy also! Jordan...BARELY finished his 1/4 of his cupcake...1/4!!!! Who's kid is this? sigh....he finally downed it with some milk. But, he said it was "ok"....sigh...
