Every year the Japanese community holds services at the cemeteries. Since Mom passed recently and we haven't had her services...we decided to not attend this year. So...we put flowers up in San Jose's Oak Hill, Gilroy and Yamato (Salinas) cemeteries today. So, we put flowers at over 20 of our family members grave-sites....and that doesn't include Jeff's side in Vacaville!!!
It is a nice Japanese/family tradition that is passed down generation to generation...I better make a map for Jordan and Neil!!!

I'm having Lauren join me when I go with my mom and brother. This year my sister was able to join too. It makes for a long day, (3 cemetaries in 3 different directions) but it's an important "tradition." ((HUGS)) to you and your family, Sheri!
